Our women's tops are cotton-led: they run from 57% to 100% cotton across a hundred-odd styles, with at least 60% recycled nylon in the activewear ones. Tees, long sleeves, tanks, camis, bodysuits and knitted tops all sit here, which is why this page is wider than any one of them.

What counts as a basic top?

A top you build on rather than one you build around. These are basic everyday tops in that sense: plain necklines, no print, and cuts that repeat across the ranges so a tee and a long sleeve in the same family fit the same way. The Core, True, Flex and Everyday names are fabric families, not styles, and each runs across several shapes.

The cotton range

The True pieces are 100% cotton with no elastane — the heaviest knit we make and the plainest. The Everyday pieces are 57% cotton made with TENCEL™ Modal fibers, the lowest cotton content on the page. TENCEL™ is a trademark of Lenzing AG.

The ones that are not cotton-led

A smaller group is built on at least 60% recycled nylon — the activewear tops — and a few are made with LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose or TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers instead. Nine products are wool. Each product page carries the exact mix for that style, because across a hundred styles the blend is the thing that varies most.
