Organic cotton basics, made with 95–100% organic cotton
The styles on this page are made with 95–100% organic cotton: T-shirts and long sleeves, briefs, trunks, thongs and shorty briefs, bras, sweatshirts and hoodies, socks, hats and a few dresses and pants. If a product is not at least 95% organic cotton, it is not here.
What the 95–100% means
It is the share in the fabric, not the share of the collection. A Core Brief is 95% organic cotton with a little elastane; a True Boxy Tee is 100%, with nothing else in it. The elastane in the underwear and the ribbed styles is what lets them stretch and recover, which is why 95% rather than 100% is the floor for those cuts.
Why is some of our cotton not on this page?
Because a lot of it sits under the line, and some of it well under. A sweatshirt blended for structure, a ribbed flare pant blended for stretch — real products, none of them basics by this page's standard, and each on its own page instead. Drawing the line at 95% is what makes the claim on this page checkable.
What is on it
Underwear is the deepest part: briefs, trunks, boxer briefs, thongs, shorty briefs and boxer shorts. Then tops — T-shirts, long sleeves, singlets and tank tops. Then bras: scoop, triangle and plunge. Then the warmer layers, sweatshirts and hoodies, with socks, hats, a cardigan, dresses, shorts, pants and sleepwear filling in the rest.
Where to go next
For the same cotton below the 95% line, our cotton collection gathers it by fiber rather than by figure. Our materials page explains how we choose and verify them, and the women’s organic cotton page narrows this one by gender.
Sizing across the range
Nearly every style comes in XS to XXL, with XXS and XXXL on most styles and XXXXL on some; the bras use band and cup or numeric sizes. Wash cold with similar colors and dry flat where the fabric is heavy.
