The styles here are made with 60% to 91% recycled nylon, and the same fiber is recorded as polyamide on some product pages.

The benefits of 60% to 91% recycled nylon

Our recycled nylon is typically made with pre-consumer waste. For women's clothing, the fiber provides the flexibility and resilience needed for everyday wear.

How Organic Basics approaches the fiber

Our women's collections use this nylon across leggings, activewear, swimwear and underwear. Each product page carries the exact composition for that style.

Applications in women's clothing

The fiber is used in various types of women's clothing, including leggings, activewear, and outerwear. It is appreciated for its stretchability and strength, making it ideal for garments that require durability and flexibility. For instance, our leggings offer a snug fit that supports movement, perfect for both casual and athletic activities.

Caring for your nylon garments

To maintain the integrity of these garments, it is recommended to follow specific care instructions. Gentle washing and air drying can prolong the life of these garments, preventing premature wear and tear.

Why choose this fiber?

Opting for women's clothing made with this nylon means choosing a fabric that is stretchy and strong. The collection offers styles that pair it with elastane, and with 45% cotton on the Track Straight Leg Pants and Track Zip Jacket.
