What separates a brief from a trunk?

The leg, or rather the absence of one. A brief ends at the top of the thigh with no leg length at all, which is what separates it from a trunk or a boxer brief. The waistband sits at the hip, and the cut is the same across every pack size — a 9-pack is the same brief repeated, not a different garment.

The fabric

Made with 95% organic cotton, with elastane making up the rest so the waistband and the leg openings stretch. The same composition applies to every pack size, so there is nothing to compare between the 3-pack, the 6-pack and the 9-pack except how many you want. Single colors and mixed packs: Black, White, Light Blue / White / Soft Pink, Artichoke / Soft Blush / Walnut, and Soft Lilac / Himalayan Salt / Sandstone. Sizes run XS to XXXL.

If a brief is not the cut you want

The trunks stop high on the thigh and the boxer briefs carry further down, both in the same cotton family. The boxer shorts are the loosest cut of the three, and the rest sits in men’s underwear.

How the packs work

The three pack sizes hold the same brief in different quantities, so the 3-pack, 6-pack and 9-pack differ only in how many arrive and in which color combination they come in. Mixed packs put three shades together; the single-color packs repeat one. Nothing about the cut, the waistband or the fabric changes between them, which is why the decision here is quantity and color rather than fit.
