Cotton sleep shorts, made with 97% organic cotton

We make one pair of cotton pajama shorts: the Core Sleep Poplin Shorts, in 97% organic cotton with a little elastane. They come in Black, Light Blue and a Matcha Green Stripe, in XXS to XL on nearly every style.

Why poplin rather than jersey?

Poplin is a woven cotton rather than a knit, so it is crisp instead of stretchy and it hangs away from the leg. That is the difference you notice in bed: a jersey short moves with you and a poplin short does not cling. It is also why these press flat instead of softening the way a jersey does.

Sleep shorts or lounge shorts?

The same garment, depending on what you do in them. These work as organic cotton sleep shorts on their own and as lounge shorts under a longer shirt. There is no tie at the waist, just elastic, so nothing digs in when you are lying down.

Sizing and washing poplin

Nearly every style comes in XXS to XL. Wash cold and hang to dry rather than tumble drying. Poplin creases, so take it out of the machine promptly if that bothers you. You can read more about our approach to fabrics here.
