Our socks are cotton-led: fourteen styles made with 70–85% organic cotton, each with at least 13% recycled polyamide and a little elastane. Crew, ankle, no-show, knee-high and tennis lengths all sit here, and the blend barely changes between them.

Are these 100% cotton socks?

No, and no sock on this page is. The cotton content runs from 70% to 85%, and the rest is at least 13% recycled polyamide with elastane. That is deliberate rather than a compromise: a sock has to stretch over the heel and come back to shape, and cotton on its own does not do that. We do not make a 100% cotton sock.

What the blend does

The cotton content varies by style rather than by length: the Core Ankle Socks 2-Pack is 85%, the Core Crew Rib Socks 80% and the Core No Show Socks 75%, each with at least 13% recycled polyamide and a little elastane. Every product page carries the exact figure for that pair.

The lengths

The Core Crew Socks are the standard pair, with ribbed, logo, striped and butterfly versions of the same length. The Core Ankle Socks and Core No Show Socks sit lower. The Core Stripe Knee High Socks are the longest, and the Core Tennis Crew Socks are the sport pair.

Sizes and colors

Sizes are 35-38, 39-42 and 43-46 rather than single numbers, so one size covers several shoe sizes. Thirty-nine colors run across the fourteen styles, from Black and Aubergine through Azure Blue.
