Women's knit pants, from a wide leg to a flare

We make three knit pants: the True Knit Wide Leg Pants in 100% cotton, the Soft Knit Straight Leg Pants at 70% cotton with 20% recycled polyester, and the Soft Knit Rib High-Rise Flare Pants at 60% cotton with 23% recycled nylon. All three are knitted rather than woven, which is where the stretch comes from.

Which knit pants for which shape?

The True Knit Wide Leg Pants are the loosest, with a tie drawstring at the waist. The Soft Knit Straight Leg Pants are the plain everyday pair, straight from hip to hem. The Soft Knit Rib High-Rise Flare Pants sit highest on the waist and open out below the knee, in a ribbed knit rather than a flat one.

Cotton knit pants for women, and what they are made of

The True Knit pair is 100% cotton with nothing else in it. The Soft Knit Straight Leg Pants are 70% cotton with 20% recycled polyester and 10% nylon. The rib flare is 60% cotton with 23% recycled nylon and 17% nylon. So the softer, looser pair is the plainest fabric and the closer-fitting pair carries the most stretch — worth knowing if you are choosing between them on feel rather than on shape.

Sizing and washing a knit

Nearly every style comes in XXS to XL, with XXL on most styles and XXXL on some. Colors include Black, Almond, Double Cream, Evergreen, Golden Clay, Light Blue, Matcha Green, Misty Grey Melange, Navy, Rich Brown, Shadow and Silver Mist. Wash cold and dry flat rather than on a line.
