High waisted briefs, in 70% recycled nylon
Our high rise briefs are the Bare High-rise Briefs, in four colors: 70% recycled nylon with elastane, over a 100% cotton gusset. They are seamless, cut high at the waist for full coverage.
What makes them high rise?
The waistband sits at or above the natural waist rather than on the hip, so the brief covers the whole front and back rather than cutting across. That is the difference between high waisted underwear and a mid-rise brief: coverage, not size.
Why nylon rather than cotton here
Seamless construction is the reason. A seamless brief needs a fabric that holds an edge without a hem, and that is 70% recycled nylon with elastane rather than cotton jersey. The gusset is 100% cotton. That is the one part of a brief where the fabric choice is not about the silhouette.

Sizing and the wash
Nearly every style comes in XXS to XXXL. The colors are Black, Hazelnut, Sage and Wood. Machine wash cold and skip the tumble dryer, which is standard for anything with elastane in it.
