Bare: seamless underwear in 70% recycled nylon
Bare is our seamless range, and every piece in it is 70% recycled nylon with elastane. It covers briefs, thongs, scoop bralettes and plunge bralettes, with no cotton anywhere in it.
What makes it seamless?
The edges lie flat instead of finishing in a seam, which is the whole point of the range: it is the underwear to wear under something close-fitting, where a hem would show.
The Bare essentials underwear, piece by piece
The Bare Cheeky Briefs are the brief, stretchy and cut high at the leg. The Bare Bandeau Bralette is the strapless one, with removable padding and detachable multi-way straps, so you can set the straps several ways or leave them off. The range also includes thongs, scoop bralettes and plunge bralettes.
Why nylon and not cotton
A seamless edge needs a fabric that recovers after stretching, and that is 70% recycled nylon with elastane rather than cotton jersey. If you want cotton Bare underwear, there is none — our women’s underwear collection has the cotton briefs and thongs with seams.
What goes over it

Sizes, colors and the wash
Nearly every style comes in XXS to XL, and some also come in XXL or XXXL; a few use band and cup or numeric sizes. The colors are Black, Wood, Hazelnut, Sage and Marshmallow Pink. Machine wash cold and skip the tumble dryer, which is what the elastane needs.
